Biography:

Matthew J. Montano was raised in Western Massachusetts. Matt graduated from Agawam High School in 2012. Following graduation, Matt attended the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, where he majored in Political Science with a concentration in pre-law. While at UMass Dartmouth, Matt ran middle distance for the Track and Field Team, earning All-Academic honors. In his free time, Matt was elected by the student body to serve as a Senator in the Student Government. Matt graduated magna cum laude in three years in 2015.

After being heavily interested in pursuing a career in law from his studies in Political Science, Matt attended the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth School of Law. While in law school, Matt was elected Vice President of the Student Bar Association and organized various events on campus.

While at UMass Law, Matt began to find his passion in personal injury law. He served as a law clerk at Beauregard, Burke, and Franco and interned at the Legal Center for Nonprofits, both in New Bedford, MA. Matt also worked in UMass Law’s Community Development Clinic by helping clients with non-profit organizations and presenting to the community regarding Independent Contracting in Massachusetts.

Matt then passed the July 2018 Bar Exam and was licensed on November 28, 2018. In February 2019, Matt joined Orlando & Associates as an Associate Attorney.

In his free time, Matt enjoys watching all New England sports, fishing, running, and spending time with his friends and family.
