Family Sues Over Child Left on Bus: Suit Names City, Superintendent, Former Principal as Defendants

The family of a special needs child left on a Gloucester school bus more than a year ago has filed a lawsuit seeking undetermined damages through a jury trial.

The suit charges the city, Superintendent Richard Safier, and former East Gloucester Elementary school principal Carol Bratt with negligence and the “intentional infliction of emotional distress” in the incident.
