Nolan Young was born and raised in Winthrop, Massachusetts. Nolan attended Winthrop Middle and High School. Nolan’s academic career took him to UMass Boston earning a degree in English. However, Nolan wanted to pursue his education further and decided that a career in law was exactly what he wanted.

Nolan attended the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth School of Law. Nolan excelled in his first year of law school, earning himself an A+ in Torts and also grading onto the university’s Law Review. Nolan was also extremely involved with campus life being the chapter President of the Federalist Society, Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Dean Search Committee when the University was searching for its next Dean.

While at UMass Law, He served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Marylou Muirhead and Jeffrey Winik in the Boston Housing Court. Nolan then had a second judicial internship for the Honorable John McDonald of the Boston Municipal Courts. During this time Nolan accumulated enough Pro Bono hours to earn himself the Pro Bono Award at his UMass Law graduation.

Nolan then passed the July 2018 Bar Exam and was licensed in November of 2018. After taking the bar exam Nolan began working for the Law Offices of William Soo Hoo, a Boston immigration and personal injury law firm. The law firm decided to hire him as an associate attorney after the bar results were released. Nolan spent two years with this law firm as an Associate Attorney. In November of 2021 Nolan has joined Orlando and Associates as an associate attorney.

In his free time, Nolan enjoys participating in his monthly book club, watching the Patriots, hiking, and going on different adventures with his friends and family.
